Brotherhood Volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank
January 22 - 5:30pm

Join the Brotherhood at the Second Harvest Food Bank as they help to feed families in our area. We invite everyone who is 14 and older to come join us as we give back to the community.


Legacy Rock Shabbat
January 24 - 7:30pm

Join us for a special Shabbat Service that you don't want to miss! We are partnering with Yavneh Day School for this year's Legacy Rock Shabbat.

There will be an appetizer recpetion starting at 6:30pm, with the service to follow at 7:30pm.

Silicon Valley Holocaust Survivors Brunch
Please plan to join us for brunch, Sunday, January 12th. We'll hear from Survivor Anne Rubin. Anne and her daughter Haya will speak about her book. "Just A Little Girl." The sole surviving descendant of a prominent European dynasty of Hasidic rabbis she describes her miraculous survival as a teenager wandering through the Holocaust. 

Janka - A play by Oscar Speace
January 24-26 - 2pm & 7pm

The Janka Project and the Fresno Arts Council in conjunction with the Carl Cherry Center for the Arts present Janka, an eyewitness account of the Holocaust journey of Janka Festinger. This powerful performance will put you into the middle of Hitler’s Final Solution. 

Violins of Hope
January 28 - 5:30pm

The Violins of Hope Project is a rare assemblage of string instruments played by European Jews before, during, and after the Holocaust. These priceless historic instruments are touring the world, bringing together people of all faiths, nationalities and beliefs.

Support(ive) Group for Parenting on the Special Needs Journey
Time: Mondays 7:45pm - 9pm
Dates: Jan. 6, Feb. 3, Mar. 2, Apr. 6, May 4, June 1

Parenting can be joyful, stressful, uplifting and frustrating - all in one day (hour?!) The journey to, through and beyond a special needs diagnosis can make the parenting experience all the more intense. Facilitated by Rabbi Laurie Matzkin, JCC Mindful Jewish Journeys Educator.
