Community Pride Shabbat
Friday, June 10 at 6:30 PM at Congregation Shir Hadash, 20 Cherry Blossom Ln, Los Gatos, CA 95032.
Join Temple Emanu-El, Rabbi Dana Magat, and Cantor Simerly together with the clergy of Congregation Shir Hadash, Congregation Beth David, and Congregation Sinai for the South Bay Community Pride Shabbat.   We welcome the LGBTQ Jewish community, along with allies, family, and friends, to celebrate Shabbat with an inspiring service of celebration, remembrance, and hope with inclusive and affirming liturgy.  A vegetarian potluck will follow the service, register here.   Please note, t here will not be a service at Temple Emanu-El.

Baby Shabbat
Saturday, June 11 at 9:00 AM
Babies, and bagels, and blessings, oh my!  Join us on the second Saturday of every month for a Shabbat experience geared towards families with children ages 0-30 months.  Little ones will enjoy a service full of Shabbat songs, Torah studies, and parachute play!  Kiddush, motzi, and a bagel oneg sponsored by Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood will follow this fun-filled program.  This is a great opportunity for parents of young children to meet and form groups with their peers!

Saturday, June 11 at 10:00 PM, participate in the Community Shavuot event at Congregation Beth David. Meeka Shabbat

Join us as we celebrate with a special Meeka Shabbat in honor of the last Shabbat service officiated by our cantor. We will celebrate Cantor Meeka's years and contributions to our Temple and our community.  An expanded oneg sponsored by Sisterhood will follow.

Now is the perfect opportunity to add your photo to your Temple account online.  Our online roster allows you to see people's photos!
Camp Newman Shabbat

Join Rabbi Dana Magat and your Temple Emanu-El community for a Shabbat at URJ Camp Newman! Festivities include a reception with our Camp Directors, Shabbat dinner, singing, and dancing. Parents, you are welcome to visit camp on Shabbat this summer with one exception: you may not have a child/grandchild/relative at camp during your visit because it causes homesickness and issues within the cabin.  Held at URJ Camp Newman, 4088 Porter Creek Rd., Santa Rosa.   Please register for your visit by clicking here .

San Francisco Pride with URJ
Sunday, June 26 at 10:00 AM at Civic Center UN Plaza Station, 450 Golden Gate Ave., San Francisco.
For the third year in a row, join the URJ San Francisco Bay Area Community to march together in the San Francisco Pride Parade on Sunday, June 26.  Reform Jews from across the Bay Area will march together as one united group to show our solidarity with the Pride movement, proclaim our support of civil and human rights, and demonstrate our own strength in numbers.   Sign up here!
Opening at Hatikvah House 
Hatikvah House is a lovely Jewish home for six adults with developmental disabilities located in Campbell, CA.  We are a licensed, level 3, staff-operated residential program providing services and support in an environment that embraces Jewish values and traditions.  Each resident participates in a structured schedule of activities that is responsive to their individual needs and services plan.  Hatikvah House currently has one opening for an adult age 18-59 with challenges in cognitive, self-help, and social functioning.  For more information click here.
