N eighborhood Havadalah is SATURDAY!

Join your Temple Emanu-El neighbors to start the new week at Neighborhood Havdalah.

The hosts will provide the home, the guests will provide an appetizer or dessert & Temple Emanu-El will provide the wine and ritual.

Israeli Dancing
September 3 - 7:30pm

Great exercise! Great fun! Great chance to meet new people!
Put on your dancin' shoes and come to our free Israeli dance class taught by our very own Loui Tucker. No dance experience necessary and we welcome everyone from the community to join in the fun.


Lunch & Learn with the Cantor
September 4 - 12:00pm

Join the Cantor for lunch, and bring your thirst for Jewish knowledge! Bring a sack lunch and join Cantor Edmondson on the first Wednesday of each month to share in a stimulating discussion of liturgy and music. This event is open to the community.

Religious School
September 8th - 8:30am

Can you believe that it's already time for Religious School? The first day is on September 8th! We've got a lot happening that day, from a pancake breakfast to an after school BBQ. Don't miss out on all the fun!

September 17 - 7:30

Mark your calendars because Jews & Brews is back for fall drinks! Bring your friends & come meet new ones! Join us for a great social evening. at Taplands Taproom in Santa Clara.

Community Events
AAI Community Service
August 25 - 12:30pm

Looking to give back to the community? Come participate in this Youth led, interfaith Community Service event. Families with kids in 5th grade and above are welcome to attend. This is an opportunity to work with your Muslim & Christian neighbors to help the homeless. Shifts are from 12:30-3:30 or 12:30-6pm. More info below.

Sing the Beatles
August 25 - 4pm

The Quarry Persons rock the repertoire of the Beatles unlike any other tribute band you’ve heard. Their pristine singing is spot-on Fab Four, and you get to sing along, with lyrics displayed! If you love the Beatles, come along with your family and friends. The Quarry Persons will have you up out of your seats and shouting Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

**A plate with pizza slice ,vegetables and strawberries (fields!) is included in the ticket price! **
