Streaming Tot Shabbat

Temple Emanu-El presents a Shabbat experience geared towards families with children ages 1-30 months. ! The perfect way to teach your children about Shabbat! Led by Rabbi Magat and Cantor Amanda Edmondson, families with young children will enjoy upbeat songs, a short story, and a talk with the Rabbi.

Streaming Erev Shabbat Service

Join us tonight for Streaming Kabbalat Shabbat Services. For right now, we will continue to host services online. Rabbi Magat & Cantor Edmondson will be be streaming services so you can participate and hear Refuah Shlemah & the Yahrzeit list. Announcements will be shared at the end of services.

Zig Zag: I Cannot Tell a Lie, Happy Hour

George Washington could not tell a lie, and neither can we! Even if you didn’t chop down a cherry tree, you can “confess” to a “crime” (like playing hooky or forging a parent’s signature on a report card) as we celebrate George’s birthday at a Happy Hour. Come and confess or just schmooze.

Reform Judaism's Sacred Path

Sefer Club

Join your fellow congregants for our next Sefer Club meeting! This month, we'll be reading "Black, White and Jewish", by Rebecca Walker. In this book, Rebecca Leventhal Walker attempts to define herself as a soul instead of a symbol—and offers a new look at the challenge of personal identity, in a story at once strikingly unique and truly universal.

Tikkun Olam Committee
The Tikkun Olam Committee and Parents Circle – Families Forum invite you to join a virtual conversation with two courageous bereaved mothers, an Israeli and a Palestinian. Despite having paid the highest price in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict – the loss of a child – both women have chosen a unique path of reconciliation and dialogue instead of revenge.

Hillel L'Dor V'Dor

At the event, we will be honoring community members Dan Pitt and Barbara Green for their many years of dedicated service on behalf of the students we serve. We are proud to announce that this year’s student honoree is Ron Levy. Ron is President of the Students Supporting Israel club and member of the Jewish Students Union at San Jose State University.

Operation Dignity
Please join us to help Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley ensure that the urgent and critical emergency needs of Silicon Valley’s Holocaust Survivors do not go unmet. Every dollar donated to Operation Dignity will be matched by KAVOD SHEF in partnership with Seed the Dream Foundation up to $45,000. 

Every dollar raised goes directly to our community's Holocaust survivors.
