Featuring the musical stylings of our Rock Shabbat Band!  An innovative and joyous worship experience with musicians (piano, percussion, guitars, trombone, etc.) and singers joining Rabbi Dana Magat and Cantor Amanda Edmondson. Congregational singing is definitely encouraged, as is dancing in the aisles.  Join us as we welcome the Sabbath in a fun and lively manner.  All members and non-members are invited to a service like you've never been to before.

Erev Shabbat Family Service - Teacher Appreciation with 2nd and 3rd Grades

This service includes the participation of our 2nd Grade Class with leadership from our 3rd Grade Class. We're proud of our students and their participation and leadership in our service. This Family Service is preceded by a congregational Shabbatluck potluck dinner at 6:00 PM.  We hope you share in this delightful Shabbat service with us that will also recognize the amazing teaching staff of both our Religious School and Preschool.  The MazelTones, our junior choir, will also be singing during the service!

In 2013, Temple Emanu-El's Past Presidents Council introduced the Temple Emanu-El "Heart of Gold" or "Lev Zahav" Circle - created to acknowledge members of our congregation contributing $5,000 or more in annual dues.  These members are truly ensuring the future of Temple Emanu-El for our children and grandchildren. We are grateful for this very generous group! 
Baby Shabbat

Join other parents on the second Saturday of every month for a Shabbat experience geared towards families with children ages 0-30 months.  Little ones will enjoy a service full of Shabbat songs, stories, and play!  Kiddush, motzi, and a bagel oneg sponsored by Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood will follow this fun-filled program.  This is a great opportunity for parents of young children to meet and form groups with their peers-maybe even lifelong friends!  Babies and bagels and blessings, oh my!
Mitzvah Project
April 21 - May 20
Upcoming Bar Mitzvah student, Evan Dworkin, is collecting board and card games for Sunday Friends.  This organization is looking for gently used or new educational type games for their clients to play and take home.  Please look through games you no longer play and donate them the next time you're at Temple!  There will be a box located in the sanctuary foyer to drop off your donations from April 21 to May 20.   Thank you in advance for your help!

The townspeople - suspicious, remorseful, fearful, and cunning - expect the worst and behave accordingly. Modern Living-Maintaining Balance: Thursdays, April 26-May 24 at 7:00 PM
A new four-lesson course of the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning. Searching for ways to find balance in our lives is a recurring theme in modern living. Throughout this course texts will be studied related to the various elements of our lives that are constantly hanging in the balance. For the sake of organizational clarity, the course has been broken up into four topics of focus: Focus on Family, Focus on Work and Community, Focus on Self, and Finding the Balance.   Register online here.
