Worried that your little ones will squirm and make noise during services?  No need to worry at Tot Shabbat!
Led by Rabbi Magat and Cantor Amanda Edmondson, families with young children will enjoy upbeat songs, a short story, and a talk with the Rabbi on the bimah during these brief services. The perfect way to introduce your little ones to the tradition of Friday nights.  Following services, enjoy a delicious dinner provided by Sisterhood, of course at no charge!
Israeli Dancing

Put on your dancin' shoes and join our free dancing class taught by our very own Loui Tucker. This class takes place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. No dance experience necessary and we welcome everyone from the community to join.
Help San Jose Flood Victims
It's been a busy week at the Seven Trees Community Center shelter for displaced flood victims. 
They still need your assistance in this effort. This week's urgent needs include: Volunteers to provide and serve meals throughout the week, Donations of new blankets, new towels, toiletry items, and laundry pods (hypoallergenic), Donations of new men's and women's undergarments and ankle socks, Gifts of cash, stock, or other support
Volunteer groups can contact to join our meal service calendar. Donations of wish list items should be made at the Boccardo Reception Center, 2011 Little Orchard Street, San Jose 24/7, and our Administrative Office, 507 Valley Way, Milpitas from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, M - F.

Sisterhood Game Night

Rosh Chodesh

Ladies, please join us on Sunday, March 26, for a relaxed lunch and spiritually uplifting experience, as Cantor Edmondson helps us welcome the new month of Nisan. Thts Rosh Chodesh experience, co-sponsored by the Temple Ritual Committee and Sisterhood, is open to all adult women in the congregation and will take place from 12:30 PM until about 2:00 PM. Each Rosh Chodesh experience will focus on different ideas and have different activities, and in this one we'll celebrate Miriam and the Exodus from Egypt. We will embrace the new month that brings us the holiday of Passover. Rock Shabbat

Featuring the musical stylings of our Rock Shabbat Band!  An innovative and joyous worship experience with musicians (piano, percussion, guitars, trombone, etc.) and singers joining Cantor Amanda Edmondson and Rabbi Dana Magat. Congregational singing is definitely encouraged, as is dancing in the aisles.  Join us as we welcome the Sabbath in a fun and lively manner.  All members and non-members are invited to a service like you've never been to before.

Help Make Other's Passover Great!
Please help JFS collect and distribute Passover Food to families and seniors in our community by placing food in the JFS bins in our lobby. We appreciate your contributions of Matza, Horseradish, Matzah Ball Soup, Tea, Gefilte Fish, Grape Juice, Macaroons, Cakes, Cookies, Fruit, Honey, Matza Meal, and any other Passover foods that you choose to give!  Barrels will be at Temple Emanu-El through April 5.

Meeting on Immigration

Join us as we share stories of our own journeys and learn concrete steps we can take to protect immigrants against injustice. The conversation will be Thursday, March 23rd from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

SJWeBelong: A Community Action and Dialogue for Housing Justice

We will particularly address the issues of displacement/relocation and unjust evictions.   We will be joined by Councilmembers Sylvia Arenas, Sergio Jimenez and Tam Nguyen .

Friendship Circle Summer Camp
Early Bird Registration by April 1
Summer will be here before you know it and  Friendship Circle is  offering a one of a kind two week summer day camp experience specifically for Children and Teens with Special Needs.  Camp will be held at the Oshman Family JCC in Palo Alto from July 31st to August 11th!  An early bird registration discount for our fun-filled summer camp is available until April 1st! 
Register now (space is very limited) for our action packed typical day camp filled with activities, entertainment, field trips and more including our amazing teen volunteers and an onsite therapist.
