Dear Families and Friends of Temple Emanu-El,

There are a lot of exciting programs planned for the new year and the Annual Campaign is an important part of our budget. As you can see, we are nearly halfway there -- we have now reached $32,607!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has already donated. We know we can reach this goal with the support of each and every one of you!

Baby & Paws Shabbat

Temple Emanu-El presents a Shabbat experience geared towards families with children ages 1-30 months. This special Shabbat will also include Paws Shabbat - bring your pet! Enjoy a walk around the neighborhood after a lovely Baby Shabbat service.
Family Taste of Judaism

Coffee Talk with La Prez

Come schmooze with Temple President Deborah Zimmer at the Temple House. Coffee and tea will be provided. Deborah wants to hear about your thoughts and experiences about Temple.

EESY Bowling with a Friend

Tot Shabbat with Catered Dinner
Friday, October 19th at 6:00 PM
Families with young children will enjoy upbeat songs, a short story, and a talk with the Rabbi on the bimah. All are welcome to these brief services on the third Friday of each month. Stay after services and enjoy a delicious dinner provided by Sisterhood, of course at no charge!
Yoga Minyan
Saturday, October 20th at 9:00 AM
Join Rabbi Laurie Matzkin for a Shabbat yoga class in the BFR, combining mindful movement, creative ritual and reflective study. This class is gentle and suitable for all levels, with modifications offered to meet individual needs. Come with a beginners mind and an open heart, and get ready to stretch your body into Shabbat!
Havdalah, Dinner, and Movie with the Green Team
Saturday, October 20th at 6:30 PM
Join us for the Green Team’s first social and educational event of the year on Saturday, October 20th.  We will be serving a delicious vegetarian meal and showing an entertaining, family friendly movie. The festivities begin with Havdalah at 6:30. EESY Halloween Themed Night

Rock Shabbat

An innovative and joyous worship experience with musicians and singers joining Cantor Amanda Edmondson and Rabbi Dana Magat. Congregational singing is definitely encouraged, as is dancing in the aisles. All members and non-members are invited to a service like you’ve never been to before.

Noah's Bed and It Could Be Worse will be read. The children will have the opportunity to make a chain snake or a popsicle stick crocodile. Snacks will be provided, and drop-ins welcome.
PJ Library Goes to a Puppet Show!
