For only $5 per person you can get an awesome meal and some fabulous company. This is immediately followed by our Erev Shabbat Family Service.

Please be sure to bring your chanukiah/menorah to celebrate the sixth night of Chanukah! Today, Thursday, December 6th at 5:00 PM is the deadline for reserving your spot.

Tikkun Olam Speaker

Yoga Minyan

Mah Jongg Cards 2019

Believe it or not - it's that time again! Calling all Mah Jongg players! Time to reorder cards for the year 2019.

Baby Shabbat

Temple Emanu-El presents a Shabbat experience geared towards families with children ages 1-30 months. Little ones will enjoy a service full of Shabbat songs, Torah talk, and parachute play! Kiddush, motzi, and a bagel oneg. Everyone is welcome!
Jews and Brews
Tuesday, December 11th at 7:30 PM
Join Temple Emanu-El for our third Jews and Brews! Meet new people and make new friends as we relax with good drinks and tasty snacks! All 21-and-up adults in their 20s and 30s are welcome. Please RSVP on  Facebook .
Tot Shabbat with Free Dinner
Friday, December 21st at 6:00 PM
Families with young children will enjoy upbeat songs, a short story, and a talk with the Rabbi on the bimah. All are welcome to these brief services on the third Friday of each month. Stay after services and enjoy a delicious dinner provided by Sisterhood, of course at no charge!
Adult Education Torah Trope Class

Cantor Amanda Edmondson will be offering an eight week Adult Education Torah Trope class. Participants must have basic Hebrew reading skills - no need to be fluent, but basic knowledge of letters and vowels is necessary. Please be sure to register here so we can purchase the appropriate number of books.

Chanukah Night with SJSU

at The San Jose State Event Center
Come celebrate Chanukah with a San Jose State basketball game! San Jose State Spartans will be playing Bethune Cookman Wildcats. Embrace-A-Family This Hanukkah

We are partnering with Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley to fulfill the Chanukah holiday wishes of families and seniors who would otherwise go without gifts. We have displayed in our foyer a dreidel board full of wish cards that you can choose from.
