Baby Shabbat is back!
September 14th - 9:00am

Temple Emanu-El presents a Shabbat experience geared towards families with children ages 1-30 months. Little ones will enjoy a service full of Shabbat songs and Torah talk! Kiddush, motzi, and a bagel oneg sponsored by Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood follows this fun-filled program.

Jews & Brews
September 17th - 7:30pm

We're back! We know that it's been awhile and we all got busy with summer. Time to get together with your friends, both old and new, for a beer and enjoy the nice weather at Taplands! All 21-and-up adults in their 20s and 30s are welcome.

Israeli Dancing
September 17 - 7:30 pm

Great exercise! Great fun! Great chance to meet new people!
Put on your dancin' shoes and come to our free Israeli dance class taught by our very own Loui Tucker. No dance experience necessary and we welcome everyone from the community to join in the fun.

Selichot Film and Discussion
September 21 - 6:30pm

Temple Emanu-El presents a beautiful introduction to the High Holidays. The evening begins with a film and discussion followed by a special oneg. The evening concludes with the Selichot Service a time for reflection that will help prepare you spiritually for the upcoming holidays.

Mishpacha Sheli
September 22 - 9:30am

A program designed for preschool aged children and their parents who would like a “whole family” experience. We offer an introduction to Jewish values, holidays, traditions and customs through singing, storytelling, art, movement games and cooking. ***Children must be at least 3 years old by September 1, 2019*** .

Shabbat HaNefesh
September 27 - 6:30pm

Our newest Shabbat experience! Nourish your mind, body, and soul with your fellow congregants. Shabbat HaNefesh will be held on the fourth Friday of each month. The schedule will be as follows:

Mamash Kabbalat Service, 6:30-7:00 PM
Appetizer Oneg 7:00pm

Shabbat dinner and wine: 7:15-8:00 PM
Dessert Oneg, 8:00

Our 20/20 project is an exciting endeavor to reinvigorate the Temple Emanu-El campus that reflects our commitment to the future while staying true to our past.

This year's Power of Women will be unlike any before! With emphasis on power, Power of Women 2.0 is all about bringing together the community in the spirit of lifting women up.

Climate Fair
September 22 - 11am

Take action on climate change. Learn what’s happening locally and what you can do.

Information, tabling, and giveaways by local governments and community groups. There will also be special activities for children and families.

This is a free event and is open to the public.

JCC Los Gatos Lunch & Opera Overview
September 27 - 10am

Enjoy a catered hot lunch followed by entertainment. Please reserve your spot in advance. Cost is $6 JCC members, $8.50 non-members. This month’s lunch will include a West Bay Opera Season Overview. The West Bay Opera has been bringing the performing arts to Palo Alto and the Peninsula for six decades. General Director José Luis Moscovich will give an overview of the 2019-20 season.
