Join us for a deli supper and movie, "1945"! On a summer day in 1945, an Orthodox man and his grown son arrive in a small village in Hungary while the villagers prepare for the wedding of the town clerk's son. The townspeople - suspicious, remorseful, fearful, and cunning - expect the worst and behave accordingly. Event is $15/person. Please RSVP by December 13.

SPEND CHANUKAH 2019 WITH RABBI GOLDSTEIN IN ISRAEL
|
Plans are underway for a December 2019 Temple Emanuel trip to Israel. Tentative dates are Saturday, December 21, 2019 to Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Light the first candle of Chanukah in the place where it all began! We will experience the richness and religious passion of the Old City of Jerusalem, the birthplace of the three great Abrahamic faiths. Experience the modern city of Tel Aviv, a cultural and technological mecca, and the beautiful and lush hills of the Galilee. Float in the Dead Sea and look into the red mountains of Jordan from the top of Masada. Please call Barbara Holstein in Rabbi Goldstein's office. An informational meeting will take place in January.
