Shabbat Mishpatim - January 27, 2022 - Sh'vat 25, 5782
Shabbat Shalom Message
from Matt Rissien

Shabbat Shalom,

This week’s Torah portion, Mishpatim, is one that is literally a series of laws that God shares with Moses. We see laws that deal with crime and punishment, laws that focus on the land itself, and even laws about eating. As God mentions all of these commandments, the Hebrew people respond with “Na’aseh V’nishma,” which translates to “We will do, and we will understand.”
Multi-Access Worship Schedule
Judaism holds pikuach nefesh, saving a life, as one of our highest values. In order to protect the health and safety of our community, Temple Jeremiah will continue to host services and events that can be attended via Zoom.

In-person Kabbalat Shabbat worship will take place in the Schreibman Sanctuary, Tefilah will be held in the Multipurpose Room, and Torah Study will take place in rooms 107-108. Coffee and bagels (individually wrapped) will be provided. Shabbat worship, Tefilah, and Torah Study will also, simultaneously, be live-streamed via Zoom.

*Please note that Tefilah will be held in the Multipurpose Room this week.

Masks are REQUIRED for anyone entering our building.
