Temporary GeauxPass Customer Service Center to Open in Belle Chasse Friday

In-person center open Mon-Fri 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for 90 days

BELLE CHASSE, LA. - Although tolling is currently paused on the Belle Chasse Bridge, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is coordinating a temporary GeauxPass Customer Service Center (CSC) to open on Oct. 10 for 90 days in Belle Chasse. The center will operate weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., providing support to residents and travelers with GeauxPass registration, account management, and general tolling inquiries.


"We're putting the people of Plaquemines Parish first,” Gov. Jeff Landry said. “The customer service center in Belle Chasse is here to make it easier for folks to get help, update their GeauxPass accounts, and get the answers they need, right here at home. While the tolls remain suspended, my administration is working to make sure residents get a fair deal moving forward."

“Having easy, reliable access to the customer service center will be beneficial to citizens to ensure their GeauxPass accounts are set up properly,” said DOTD Sec. Glenn Ledet. “We urge the residents to utilize the center to get answers to their questions which will help clear the path as we work toward making this situation right for the residents."


The CSC is conveniently located for Plaquemines Parish residents and commuters. Staff will be available to assist with:

  • Signing up for a GeauxPass
  • Managing existing GeauxPass accounts
  • Answering general questions about tolling procedures


Important Notice:

The temporary CSC will NOT be able to address issues related to the recent tolling pause announced by Gov. Landry. For inquiries regarding the governor’s directive or tolling policy, please contact DOTD or visit the official DOTD website at dotd.la.gov.


Please note: DOTD’s tolling pause applies only to transactions after 4:41 P"M on Oct. 2, 2025. All previous transactions and fees remain valid and due, and non-payment may result in violations.
