Teton County will conduct its annual pathway sealcoating August 3–7. Several pathway segments will temporarily close for up to four hours at a time and may close more than once during the week.
This year’s work includes:
- South Park Loop Pathway from Blair Drive to West Boyles Hill Road
- South Park Loop Pathway from West Boyles Hill Road to Red House Drive
- South Park Loop Pathway from Grand Teton Circle to Highway 89
- Highway 89/Von Gontard Pathway from South Park Loop Road to Old West Cabins
- Garaman Pathway from Gregory Lane to Elk Run
Garaman Park will remain open.
Signs will be posted along the affected pathways with estimated closure dates and times. The schedule may change due to weather, contractor delays, or other conditions.
Please do not enter freshly sealed sections. The sealant may remain hot and can cause injuries or damage bicycles, clothing, shoes, strollers, and other equipment. Pathway users may also encounter construction crews, trucks, and large equipment near the work areas.
Please follow all posted signs and instructions from maintenance crews and wait until the sealant is completely dry before using a closed pathway.
Current updates and project maps will be available on the Teton County website.
Questions may be directed to Max Moran, Teton County Parks & Pathways Project Manager, at 307-733-5056 or mmoran@tetoncountywy.gov.
