On 2 March 2026, USTC released advisory #26-0052, regarding the temporary suspension of the DoW Trusted Traveler Program (TTP).
In order to prevent service disruptions, shipment delays, or difficulty accessing a base, please review the following:
- All personnel must possess government issued identification - Examples include REAL ID-compliant driver license, Transportation Worker Identity Credential (TWIC), or passport.
- All NFC shipments must utilize crews/labor/drivers who have passed a background check. This background check must be on file and readily available to provide to the DoW should they request it. The individual(s) must have no outstanding warrants, convictions for disqualifying offenses, terror connections, or other conditions that would make a person a risk to the installation or personnel.
- Plan accordingly to allow for additional time when scheduling packing, pickups and/or deliveries to residences on a military installation.
Communication is Key and we are committed to ensuring a smooth move for both our customers and agent family.
Please contact NFC Operations or NVL International with any base access issues you may encounter. 800-722-9144 option 1, or nfcoperations@nationalforwarding.com. 800-323-1963 or international@nationalvanlines.com.
