A Note From Karen

Dear Friends,

I am truly humbled and filled with gratitude to everyone who supported our shop this past Saturday. We had so much fun celebrating LYS Day with our wonderful customers. Thank you to those folks who weren’t available to visit on Saturday, but express their support in many other ways. Knitting Temptations has a community filled with talented and amazing fiber artists!

We are already brainstorming LYS Day 2020 and welcome your suggestions!

I-75 Yarn Crawl 2019

Knitting Temptations is thrilled to be a part of the I-75 Yarn Crawl. The Crawl is a 10-day event where "crawlers" travel from yarn shop to yarn shop to see what is new for the 2019 fall season, experience the ambience of each shop, get to know the personality of the owner and staff, and win PRIZES!!!. This year's crawl is happening August 2-11 and promises to be the best crawl ever! Fifty-six shops participated last year and even more are participating in 2019. So buy your passport (available May 1), call your friends and yell "ROADTRIP!!!!"

Can't wait to hit the road!
Knit for the Love

Do you sometimes think, "I don't need another hat, scarf or cowl, but I love to knit!" What about “knitting for the love” of it? Knit for the love of people going through chemo, women who have had mastectomies, premature babies or those who are homeless. Knit for anyone in need, just for the love of knitting.

Knitting Temptations is encouraging knitters to come together and knit for others on the fourth Saturday of each month from 1-3pm. We will focus on a different charity/project each month. We will deliver the finished projects.

Our focus May 25 is Knitted Knockers. Knitted Knockers are special handmade breast prosthesis for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast.  One of our Knitting Temptations fiber artists will share all of the ins and outs of knitting this design.
