Welcome to the June 2026 issue of Driven to Repair, the official newsletter from TenPoint Complete. Where automotive industry insight meets real world solutions designed to accelerate business performance and elevate the customer experience.

Whether you are a shop owner, director, investor, or industry leader, this newsletter is built for you. Each issue delivers the trends, strategies, tools, and stories that matter most in today’s rapidly evolving automotive landscape.

Net Promoter Score Opportunities

Many post repair surveys use the Net Promoter Score (NPS) as a way to measure customer satisfaction. Vehicle owners are asked to rate their experience, usually on a 0-10 or 1-10 scale, with 10 being the highest. Responses are categorized into three categories: 9’s and 10’s are Promoters; 7’s and 8’s are Passives and 6’s and below are Detractors.

There are great opportunities for each category. For Detractors, the goal is service recovery and moving the customer into at least the Passive category. For Passives, you want to find out how to make those customers brand champions, and move them to Promoters. The opportunity for Promoters is to leverage them for increased sales. Did you Know? Due to the mathematical formula the NPS can actually range from -100 to 100. Although rare, TenPoint Complete has seen some scores come out below zero.
