Collision Industry Foundation

25 Year Anniversary Fundraiser

The Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) announced a major fundraising effort to support its’ silver anniversary at the recent CIC meeting in Chicago. The Foundation is the charitable arm of the collision repair industry, providing emergency relief to collision repair professionals who have experienced significant losses due to natural disasters or other catastrophic events.

John Webb, Managing Partner at TenPoint Complete, is on the CIF Board of Trustees. “It’s about helping people through events like hurricanes, tornados, wildfires, floods and medical emergencies,” he said. “It’s about giving back to the industry we’re all a part of,” he added.

CIF’s quarter century effort is aptly named $25 for 25, and is designed to individuals throughout the industry, in addition to our Annual (corporate) Donors. The goal is to harvest 1000 donations of $25.00.

The campaign reflects CIF’s belief that meaningful impact doesn’t require a large gift. A $25 donation multiplied many times over by caring individuals strengthens the Foundation’s ability to respond quickly when disaster strikes.

·      Simplified online giving options, making it easy to make one-time donations, become an Annual Donor or support special fundraising campaigns.

·      An improved disaster assistance section that outlines the application process in four simple steps, provides expected response timing and allows individuals to complete and submit assistance or referral forms directly online.

·      Powerful testimonials and personal stories from assistance recipients, Trustees and industry supporters that illustrate the life-changing impact of CIF’s work.

“Stories have the power to inspire action in ways that facts and statistics alone cannot,” said John Webb, CIF Board Trustee. “These videos allow people throughout the collision repair industry to see the real impact their support has on individuals and families facing extraordinary circumstances.
