January 2019 Edition
New Offices Opened!
In January we officially opened the doors of our Teaneck and Closter locations! We also would like to welcome our new physicians who previously were from Metropolitan Pediatrics. You can find their biographies on our website by clicking on their names below:
As with our other locations, Teaneck and Closter will be open on weekdays starting at 8:30am. We have walk-in hours between 8:30am and 9:30am for common sick visits – please call ahead for any other appointment requests.

Dr. Joshua Menasha, Dr. Sheryl Jawetz and Dr. Avigayil Elkin will be spending some time at our Teaneck location in addition to our new physicians Dr. Alan Kanter, Dr. Gail Schewitz, Dr. Emmanuel Martakis and Dr. Michael Novogroder.

Dr. Eun Joo Kim will be spending time at our Closter location in addition to Dr. Lucia Caruana, Dr. Emmanuel Martakis and Dr. Gail Schewitz.
We are excited about being in these towns to be closer to many patients who were making the commute to our other offices nearby. Spread the word to your friends!
Emailing Forms
Tenafly Pediatrics would like to help you save your stamp money! We are now accepting school/camp forms through email by office location. Each office has their own email account for forms (please note, they are not set up for medical questions) listed below:


In your email, it is required to put your child’s name and date of birth, and any sections on the form that should be filled out by you must be completed prior to sending them to us. 

We can also return these emails/forms using a secure, HIPAA compliant service called ShareFile. The first time you receive an email from us you will simply need to provide your name and email address on the register screen that will be included in our email.
A Tip for Early 2019
With the new year many patients have new insurance so we will need to verify your insurance before you are seen so there are no surprises later. Please come prepared with your insurance cards. We also require any new patients to Tenafly Pediatrics to complete a registration form, and we ask existing patients to complete one every 2 years, so please allow time to complete this paperwork when you visit us. Thank you!
