Tennis & Pickleball Guidelines
Dear Tennis & Pickleball Members,
Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and positive experience for you, your family, and guests. The Tennis/Pickleball staff works closely with the Tennis/Pickleball Advisory Committee to provide the best service and the finest programs in the industry.
Please review the policies below.
DRESS CODE: Players must be dressed in appropriate Tennis attire, including shoes specifically designed for clay court use. Proper sports attire is required for Pickleball play, including safe smooth sole shoes for hard courts. Unacceptable clothing includes midriff tops and men’s tank tops. You must be dressed properly to use any court.
COURTESY: Members and guests are expected to follow standard tennis etiquette. Guidelines of proper etiquette include:
1. Everyone is expected to demonstrate courtesy on and off the courts.
2. Please vacate all courts promptly as a courtesy to incoming players who, in turn, will not enter the court area prior to their scheduled time.
3. Good sportsmanship and quiet conversation should be maintained at all times on the courts. Please treat others as you would like to be treated.
4. Loud noises, profanity, and abusive language are unacceptable behavior.
5. Spectators are invited to observe play from outside the court area. Players use the chairs under the canopies.
6. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the tennis courts and surrounding areas.
7. Please do not enter teaching courts or interrupt the Tennis professionals while they are providing lessons to Members or guests.
8. Shoes must be free of clay and other debris prior to entering the Clubhouse. Shoe cleaners are available outside the Resort & Tennis/Pickleball Shoppe; across from court 4; and on the west side of the canal by the restrooms.
9. PETS With the exception of service animals, pets are prohibited in all Tennis and Pickleball areas (inside and outside of the courts).
10. PARKING Please park golf carts in the designated areas, do not park golf carts in the spots restricted to cars.
Thank you,
Tennis & Pickleball Staff
