Hello,

I wanted to take this opportunity to send along a few updates to our 2023 tennis and pickleball members. First of all, thank you for your patience and understanding throughout the season. I recognize the impact that the Gallagher reconstruction project had on the entire community with those courts being offline during the summer and fall months.

Speaking of Gallagher, the Gallagher Tennis Courts reconstruction project is nearing substantial completion. While these courts remain closed to the public, the courts at Adams, Clarke, and Valley are all available for use on a first come, first serve basis. The pickleball nets at Adams and Clarke and the tennis nets at all three locations will remain there for the time being. Once it begins to snow and the courts are snow-covered, please be sure to not clear or remove snow from the courts as that can cause damage. We appreciate your cooperation with this.

While our department strives to meet the tennis and pickleball needs in Lexington, I would ask for you to take some time to complete two brief surveys:

  • The first survey is our Postseason Feedback Survey. The answers and responses provided will help determine improvements and enhancements that could be implemented for the 2024 season.

It would be greatly appreciated if surveys could be completed by next Monday, December 11th.

For additional information, be sure to check out our Tennis/Pickleball webpage and Capital Projects webpage.

As always, thank you for your continued support and Happy Holidays!

Thanks,

Peter
