TIA President, Jeff Williams appeared with Jolyn de Boer,
TIA Executive Director, at the United States International Trade Commission for hearings in Washington, DC on June 25th.
TIA President Jeff Williams was among more than 325 executives who testified on Capitol Hill this week in opposition to the proposed China tariffs. Many of those testifying told the committee that the 25 percent tariffs on roughly $300 billion in Chinese imports would essentially act as a tax on Americans and threaten jobs. A new industry campaign designed to help consumers get the most out of their equipment has enlisted the help of some of the game’s biggest stars—including Roger Federer, Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal. The tennis stars offer their advice on videos produced by and airing on Tennis Channel and social media channels, and in print ads in Tennis Magazine.
