USTA Partners with President’s Council on Sports, Fitness

Gauff Unveils Refurbished Courts for US Open Legacy Initiative
Coco Gauff’s 2023 US Open triumph is directly impacting tennis facilities, as part of the new US Open Legacy Initiative to reinvigorate courts at parks, schools, and other public facilities. The first project was recently unveiled in Delray Beach.
Vania King Headlines AAPI Talks in San Diego, Indian Wells
The Asian American Pacific Islander Tennis Association held the first-ever AAPI panels at the San Diego Open and BNP Paribas Open. In IW, Grand Slam champ Vania King was joined by former WTA players Peanut Harper, Danielle Lao and Prim Siripipat on a panel moderated by award-winning journalist Michelle Yu.
USTA New Hampshire Launches State Tennis Hall of Fame
USTA NH is launching the state Tennis Hall of Fame to preserve and promote the unique tennis history of New Hampshire, honoring exceptional players, volunteers, and other contributors. Nominations are open for the inaugural class.

Ramona Husaru Named USPTA Chief Development Officer
Ramona Husaru is the USPTA’s new chief development officer, from her prior position as director of education and certification. She’ll lead the organization’s learning development, growth initiatives, and strategic partnerships for all racquet sports.

The World Tennis Conference 4, co-organized by the Global Professional Tennis Coach Association and Segal Institute, will be March 28-31, 2024 and feature at least 70 speakers. CoachTube is providing the online educational platform for the conference.

The 2024 USTA Tennis on Campus National Championship will be April 4-6 at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College in Rome, GA.
National Campus to Host U.S. BJK Cup Qualifier vs. Belgium
The USTA National Campus in Orlando, FL will host the Billie Jean King Cup Qualifier between the U.S. and Belgium April 12-13.
