DuVernay, Allaster, and Section Providers Named ‘Champions of Equality’

Award-winning director, producer and screenwriter Ava DuVernay and US Open Tournament Director Stacey Allaster were honored with USTA Billie Jean King Champions of Equality awards during the Open. The tournament also recognized members from 16 of the USTA Sections as Champions of Equality.

PTRW’s ‘Because We Can’ Program Offers Sessions This Fall

The next PTRW “…Because We Can” cohort kicks off in a few weeks with substantial savings to register. The three-session virtual program (plus PTR certification) is Sept. 29, Oct. 27 and Nov. 24 and is designed to empower women in the coaching industry.

ITA Offers Grants to Attend College Coaches Convention in December

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association is offering grants to help coaches attend the 2025 ITA College Tennis Coaches Convention, Dec. 5-7 in Tempe, Arizona. The ITA will provide free registration and up to $575 travel stipend for six coaches. Apply by this Friday, Sept. 12.

ITA, PlayReplay Sign 3-Year Deal for Electronic Line-Calling

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association and PlayReplay have a three-year partnership to bring electronic line-calling to all divisions of college tennis. The PlayReplay system has been approved by the ITA as a review (challenge) system.
