The ITF World Tennis Number is one of the most advanced and accurate rating systems in the world. It’s free to use for all ages and genders and is being adopted by the USTA and in over 135 countries. Individuals who have played in USTA events and programs can now access their WTN on the USTA website.
James Blake, Brian Barker Inducted Into USTA NE HoF
The USTA New England Tennis Hall of Fame has two new members: Connecticut legends James Blake and Brian Barker were officially inducted on June 11 at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, R.I.

Saginaw’s Garber Courts Celebrate Grand Re-Opening
Dozens of volunteers celebrated the grand re-opening of Garber Tennis Courts in Saginaw, Mich., recently. The 16 tennis and pickleball courts will help to benefit the Urban Racquet Sports Foundation in its mission to give back to kids in the community.

National Public Parks Tennis Championships in Bucks County, Pa.
Coming July 22–24, the National Public Park Tennis Championships will be hosted by the Bucks County (Pa.) Tennis Association and supported by the Bucks County Tourism Grant Program. Events will include a player reception/picnic and a free T-shirt to the first 500 registrants.
USPTA World Conference Hits New Orleans Sept. 18-22
The 2022 USPTA World Conference will be back in the Big Easy, from Sept. 18 to 22 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
ATA National Championships, Annual Meeting Slated for July
The 2022 ATA National Championships will be July 24-31 at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, Fla., with adult and junior divisions in singles and doubles. Book hotel rooms by June 24 for special tournament rates. The ATA Annual Meeting will be Sunday, July 24.

The US Open Series links eight tournaments across North America, bringing the world’s best players together in a summer season of tennis on the road to Flushing Meadows.

The 2022 Tennis National Participation Report is now available from the TIA. This year’s report, for the first time, blends data from the Physical Activity Council (PAC) Study, administered by Sports Marketing Surveys, and the National Golf Foundation Participation Engagement Study (PES).
