Tennis Loses American Great Dennis Ralston
Hall of Famer Dennis Ralston, who made his mark on the sport as a top player and coach, passed away Dec. 6 at age 78, following a battle with cancer. A five-time major doubles champion, Ralston was an integral part of the U.S. Davis Cup teams of the 1960s and 70s.

USTA Names New
Chief D&I Officer
The USTA has named Marisa Grimes as the company’s Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer. Among her tasks will be working with USTA leadership to develop and implement a culture shift throughout all levels of the association across the country.

USTA Issues Updated COVID Safety Guidelines
The USTA recently updated its "Playing Tennis Safely" guidelines for players and facilities, with the addition of specific guidelines to help indoor facilities operate safely during the pandemic.
