Silver Linings:
The Growth of Tennis
As we begin our second year dealing with the coronavirus, we get some good news about the state of our sport. In 2020, while Americans have been forced to curtail most activities, the sport of tennis has actually been growing (see a report on the research here). Let’s capitalize on this momentum with programs, initiatives, and advocacy that capture the local, grassroots nature of this sport.

In Memoriam
Remembering Tony Trabert
Tennis champion and longtime TV broadcaster Tony Trabert will long be a part of tennis’s history. “It may sound cliché,” Trabert told journalist and friend Mark Preston recently, “but I don’t know where I’d be without having played tennis.” His love affair with the sport lasted right up until his passing last month at age 90.
