Ybarra to Wed: A Broadway Proposal

Congratulations to our Tennis Professional Stevie Ybarra and tennis enthusiast Matthew Landry on their recent engagement on February 22. The couple celebrated their commitment in a picturesque setting, just off of the Broadway Trail at the Steamboat Ski Resort, adding a touch of winter magic to their special day.

Mini NTRP Tennis Tournament

The Steamboat Mini NTRP Championships recently wrapped up, and what a tennis event it was! The tournament showcased some incredible talent and sportsmanship from our local players. A huge thank you to all the participants and fans who came out to support.

Steamboat Springs was well-represented at the recent Mesa, Arizona Pickleball Tournament, with several athletes achieving impressive results.


Noelle Cerone secured a bronze medal in Women's Doubles 4.5 (Ages 8-34), while Dustin Spalding showcased his skills with a strong 4th place finish in the 5.0 Men’s Singles division. The dynamic duo of Jill Starr and Sheila Farny also made their mark, earning a silver medal in the 4.5 (60s +) category.

 

These athletes have not only brought pride to Steamboat Springs but also highlight the growing talent within our local pickleball community. Their dedication and hard work have paid off, earning them well-deserved recognition on a broader stage. The community celebrates their success and looks forward to their future achievements in the sport.

Pickleball Spring Shootout

Paddle for a Purpose

Get ready to serve, volley, and support our community at the Pickleball Spring Shootout! This exciting tournament isn't just about the thrill of the game; it's a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the lives of families through the Family Development Center. With a $65 entry fee, you'll not only enjoy a day of competitive pickleball but also contribute to a worthy cause. Participants will receive a stylish natural tote bag from Ohana, refreshing drinks, delicious appetizers, and the chance to win exciting prizes.


The Pickleball Spring Shootout promises a day packed with action and entertainment for players and spectators alike. Check-in begins at 12:30 PM, setting the stage for an afternoon of thrilling tournament play from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.


As the tournament winds down, the fun continues with social play, youth exhibition, and a lively player party from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Join us for an evening of camaraderie, light refreshments, and celebration as we come together to support the Family Development Center.
