VCU Classes begin Aug. 20; ECM lunches begin Aug. 21
As we welcome returning VCU students, remember we need volunteers to provide lunches for our Wednesday SeRVAnt gathering in Room 9. To participate, contact The Rev. Kim Reinholz. Click on the link to see the planned menus for 5-10 students. If you’re short on time, you can also donate the cost of food and we will purchase items for you.

As the church continues to change and grow (and we welcome our new Interim Rector) we need to remember that others may not know you...please take a moment as you enter the building to retrieve (and wear) your nametag. ReVive Training Rescheduled to Aug. 30
Naloxone opioid overdose training will occur on Friday, Aug. 30 at 2:00 p.m. Please register by completing the form you can download one here and return it to Rev. Kim . If you registered for the training on July 5 th which was cancelled you do not need to register again, just let Mother Kim know you will be attending. Thank you.  

Like to sing? GHTC Choir Practice Begins Sept. 5
If you are interested in joining a choir, contact Beth Davis...all voices welcome! Joining the choir is a great way to get involved and meet new people at Grace and Holy Trinity. Our Adult Choir practices weekly on Thursday evenings beginning Sept.5; the Amazing Grace Choir and the Youth Choir begin practice on Sunday, Sept. 8.

Call for Christian Ed Donations
As we prepare for the Christian Ed year to start we are in need of Legos for our kids to use in educational play. Any Legos pieces or sets are welcome, and if you do not have any Legos at home but would like to donate please check out our Amazon wish list . Donations can be dropped off to Aaron Davis at the church; he is happy to answer any questions you might have at 804-359-5628 ext. 15.

As the summer winds down, take a moment to review your pledge--are you on track? The church's online giving system makes creating (and monitoring) your gifts more convenient. Click on the "Give Now" button at the top of the website to access the secure online Shelby system. This process has been simplified in recent weeks. You can also complete a pledge form online.
