  • Blessing of students and their backpacks is on August 9th at the end of the Divine Liturgy (Public School starts on Tuesday, August 11)

  • A new group of Catechumens - Introduction to Orthodox Faith begins on Wednesday, September 2nd. Session will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays at 6:00 pm



  • Sunday School and Greek School begin on September 13

Volunteer for our St. Sophia


  • Food Pantry Ministry, and serving those in need in our community. There is an ongoing, continuous collection of food, toiletries, water, and cleaning supplies. Bring your donation to the kitchen area on Sundays or any other day after notifying us by phone.


  • Coffee Hour Fellowship Sunday after the Divine Liturgy
  • Being a choir member, chanter, or reader.
  • Encourage your children/grandchildren to participate in church ministries (Altar boy, Handmaidens, Hope and Joy, GOYA, and choir)
  • Baking and cooking
  • Cleaning
