Dear Parish Family of Holy Trinity,

We hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating the Feast of Pentecost this past weekend. It has been amazing to walk with Jesus these past weeks as He continues to prepare our hearts to grow in His love. So, do you feel ready to move from a Disciple of Christ to an Apostle of Christ?
This coming weekend we will celebrate the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity. Yes, our parish name, celebrates this glorious mystery of our God. A mystery which Jesus opened to us during His three years of active ministry, but which has permeated our Faith since the time of the Old Testament. It is a mystery in which we partake every time we love God and neighbor through prayer and selfless service.

Did you know that the early Christian communities had a Trinitarian creed? Click here to read it.

Without delving too much into the details of this mystery, the Most Holy Trinity is the perfect expression of the community we are called to be. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, three persons, one God. The Father, giving His perfect love to Jesus and then receiving back this perfect love from Him. The Son, who perfectly receives the love of God the Father and returns it perfectly back to the Father. And because of this perfect dynamic of love, we have the Holy Spirit preceding from the love of the Father and the Son.

But here’s what I find really mind-blowing: This perfect love is shared with us! God is the perfect community and He shares His love with us. He doesn't keep it to Himself. It is the reason why we are called to serve our brothers and sisters, so we can be a part of this Trinitarian mystery of receiving God’s love and giving God’s love, with the help of the Holy Spirit. All of us as a community, together with the perfect community of the Most Holy Trinity.

What can you and I do to grow in the love of the Most Holy Trinity?
  • First, accept God’s love through Prayer and the Sacraments.
  • Second, give God’s love through Spiritual and Corporal acts of Mercy.
  • Third, come to Mass every week and repeat step 1 and 2. Mass is very important because it is the summit of this relationship. It is where you and I express and renew our vows of our Communion with God. It is where God’s highest expression of love for us becomes tangible in the form of the Eucharist.

My Friends in Christ, due to sin we are not capable of perfect love of God, self or neighbor, but thanks to God’s grace through Jesus Christ the effects of sin can be outmatched. Therefore, the third step is necessary for us to grow in God’s grace and keep striving to live God’s call to holiness, so we can have the blessing of dwelling in His love.

Children's Liturgy of the Word
No Dismissal July and August

Due to not enough volunteers, Children's Liturgy of the Word will be in hiatus July and August. For the protection of our children, Diocesan safe environment guidelines are very clear that committed individuals in ministry with children be known; therefore, we cannot have random folks at Mass volunteering last minute.
During this hiatus time, we are asking for volunteers . If you are being called by the Holy Spirit to participate in this ministry, click here!
Pastoral Services Appeal Update

We want to thank all the 299 families who have made a gift to the PSA this year!

To date we have received pledges totaling $142,297 or 57% of our parish goal of $250,0000. We are still $107,703 away from reaching the goal we have set for Holy Trinity.

We hope that with the participation of our remaining 2,000 registered families, we will not only meet our $250,000 goal, but exceed it!
