As February moves in we think back on how lucky we are at TerraCrux Games to be a part of your shopping, gaming, and hobby experience. That is why we'd like you get to know us a little better in a section of the newsletter we are calling: Meet the TerraCrew.

In this edition, you'll get to know Cody, the editor of our newsletter and manager of the store. Cody lives here in Tacoma with his partner Nicole. Hailing from a big family his love of gaming is due in no small part to the many days, nights, and weekends spent with his siblings and parents rolling dice and flipping cards. Because of this, one of his main goals working at TerraCrux is to help families game and grow together. While he enjoys almost every game to one degree or another, he mostly plays Dungeons and Dragons in his free time. His top three board games are Twilight Imperium, Cascadia, and Catan. If it has hexagons, he wants to play it.

And if you've been in the store recently you might have noticed a few changes. In addition to new shelves and table layout we are also painting the floor with a nice shade of red that will will be durable, easy to clean, and give the space a high energy atmosphere! It'll be perfect for Friday Night Magic or Board Game Night. We intend to do the whole floor over time so look forward to this and other renovations and improvements. These will also involve a bit or re-merchandising to make it more accessible and easier to find the products you might be looking for.

On Sunday the 13th we will be offering a 10% discount on board games to couples who come in in celebration of Valentines Day! We also have a nice selection of extra nerdy valentines day cards for sale to let that special someone know how much you love gaming with them! Also back by popular demand, our limited edition TerraCrux Heart Pin will be free with any purchase!
