"When the Orthodox priest walked into the room, you could tangibly feel God's presence. He had been baptized in the Holy Spirit."
powerful testimony
I had the pleasure of sitting down with Michael Koulianos and i t was such a great joy to hear his testimony. W e look forward to hearing from Michael again as he joins us in San Diego for the Holy Spirit 2020 Conference .

"Have you ever seen Jesus?"

When Michael was only 7 years old, one of his cousins had passed away. The family gathered together after the funeral, and a Greek Orthodox priest who had been baptized in the Holy Spirit visited them.

When the priest walked in, the room changed. Everyone could feel a tangible power.

Having grown up in the Greek Orthodox tradition, they had no grid for the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. This humble priest with fiery eyes approached Michael's father who was suffering from a terrible knee disease.

As young Michael watched, the priest asked his father, "Have you ever seen Jesus?"

Keep in mind, the priest had never met the Koulianos family before, and since Michael's father was seated and his walking cane was out of sight, the priest had no way of knowing anything about his disease .

Suddenly the priest squeezed the knee that was hurting so badly and said, "In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk." With that, Michael's father was healed right on the spot through a Word of Knowledge, one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

That following day he went to the doctor's office where he was able to leg press more with his healed knee than he ever could with his 'good' leg. Over the years, his leg had atrophied, but through that beautiful prayer, all of his muscles came back to full health and strength in an instant. This was a bonafide miracle.

Beyond the healing though, Michael explains what impacted him the most: the saintly, wonderful glory that the priest carried. "When you meet people with that tangible presence of God on them, it marks you."

We were never meant to live without the power of the Holy Spirit

As believers, we were never meant to live without the power of the Holy Spirit. As we read the Word, the Holy Spirit feeds us and teaches us. He makes Jesus real to us.

He fills our brand new, born-again hearts with the His Spirit so that we may commune with Jesus every day. Jesus also introduces us to the Father, and by the Spirit of Adoption, He enfolds us into the family of God.

The Lord is inviting this generation into the depths of His presence.

Jesus told the disciples that it was far better for Him to leave so that He could send us the Holy Spirit. There is so much love, joy, and power available to every believer. We can only give others what we have, and that is why it is so important that we spend time with Him and in His Word every day.

I believe that we are about to enter the greatest season of soul winning, miracles, and breakthroughs; and that one of the greatest keys for this new season is hunger. Wherever God can find genuine hunger, He can pour out His Spirit. This is the greatest time to be alive!

Winnie and I are on our way to the Holy Land, as we speak.

This February 14th which is Valentine's Day, we are preparing a n extravagant feast for the widows who live in the Dheisheh and Aida Refugee Camps of Bethlehem for the first time ever . (Yes, they celebrate Valentine's Day too!)

For more than a decade now, we've been visiting these precious widows, smothering them with love and hugs, praying for them, and providing them with hefty sized grocery bags filled with food and sundries. We want them to know that they are not alone and have not been forgotten.

This is the ministry of reconciliation.

Where there was once frustration and animosity, over the years the atmosphere has changed radically. We come with His blessing and irresistible love; and stand in awe as we watch God do something wonderful here. The widows now greet us with smiles and warm hugs; a stark difference from our first visit.

Now for the very first time, we are hosting a feast. Please keep us in your prayers! Also, would you prayerfully consider helping us meet our budget by donating towards this love outreach to the widows? No gift is too small.
