State of Illinois, City of Chicago COVID-19 Testing Locations

The city of Chicago has opened five testing sites throughout Chicago that bring testing to communities disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 global pandemic. All tests at the City testing sites are free and all people regardless of citizenship status can be tested.

License Committee to Consider Alderman Tunney's Ordinance to Extend City of Chicago Business Licenses 

This Thursday, the Committee on License and Consumer Protection will consider an ordinance introduced by former IRA Chairman Alderman Tom Tunney (44th) that would create a six month extension for Chicago business licenses.

The IRA is fully supportive of this ordinance, and we appreciate Alderman Tunney's efforts to support Chicago's business community.

Updated for Phase IV - City of Chicago Business Self-Certification for Reopening
The city of Chicago has developed an updated self-certification program for businesses that plan to reopen in Phase IV. Employers are highly encouraged to indicate their ability to comply with the city's standards by completing the self-certification process.
