This work is in cooperation with the State of California and the Federal government, including but not limited to Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia and Assemblyman Chad Mayes and Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz.
In addition, Supervisor Perez stated that r
esidents who believe they may have been exposed to the virus
and would like to be tested can
call for an appointment to be tested at 1-800-945-6171
. The current location is at the Southwest Community Church in Indian Wells from Tuesdays - Saturday from 8:30-3:00 PM. Other sites are in the process of being added. An appointment is necessary and average waiting time for this call is 7 minutes.
