Getting it right the first time

Chris Devol explains our new load check process

In the spirit of improved inventory accuracy and a better overall customer experience, our Operations Team recently implemented new load check procedures in our yards.  

Two Preston Feather team members will confirm every item we deliver to your jobsite to ensure accurate deliveries, and you will notice that our inside sales team will now provide two copies of invoices at our contractor desks; a customer copy and a yard copy. Our yard teams will collect the yard copy from you as they help load your order and will confirm that we are loading the correct materials.  

We appreciate how valuable your time is, and that you may also wish to select your own lumber, so we’ll do our best to make this process as quick and smooth as possible. That being said, there’s a huge benefit to slowing down just enough to confirm the correct items and quantities are being loaded so our inventory is accurate and we’re well-stocked when you come back to see us again. Thank you for helping us with this initiative!

New solutions for countertops

Preston Feather has partnered with Counter Solutions by Lumbermen’s to expand the service of our decision centers for selection, design and installation. Aligned and sold through Preston Feather, Counter Solutions makes it easier for builders to access and source a complete line of surfaces. All installation can be coordinated through Preston Feather. Stop in and visit with our cabinetry designers to learn more about this great new service.
