West Texas A&M University Vet Science Camp

West Texas A&M University veterinary science camp experience is always exceptional. On July 14th-16th we welcomed students from all over for an overnight hands on camp. These students were able to participate in various hands on activities with amazing veterinarians from our VERO unit in Canyon, Texas.

Council for State & Territorial Epidemiologist

The VSCP team continues to work diligintly in the arena of One Health and biosecurity. Recently Dr Susan Culp, Program Veterinarian and Nikki Boutwell, VSCP Coordinator traveled to Atlanta Georgia to meet and discuss the current work efforts designated to One Health. They were able to inform and collaborate with many public health officials, epidemiologist and veterinarians to stay abreast of the current issues affecting One Health. The VSCP is looking forward to continue the work on One Heatlh for all VSCP students.

GOAT Results

Virtual Veterinary Academy



Virtual Veterinary Academy is one learning option for students interested in completing the VSCP Course curriculum. This option provides students with a credentialed educator familiar with both the course content and teaching and learning students in an online setting. This option covers the same curriculum as all other VSCP learning options. The major difference in this academy is interaction with both students and teachers in live time virtual classrooms. This is designed for students that need organizational structure and support. This session begins August 25th and seats are limited.
