New Mexico State University Vet Science Camp

New Mexico State University veterinary science camp is always amazing. On May 2-4th the NMSU Animal Science hosts students from all over New Mexico, Arizona and West Texas for a 3 day overnight hands on camp. Dr John Wenzel, DVM and the NMSU Animal & Range Science department give students incredible experiences to get their hands dirty and start looking at what it takes to become a veterinarian. These students were able to attend the El Paso Veterinary Medical Association Annual meeting and gala and talk to different veterinary schools admissions because of a generous donor. We look forward to our continued partnership with New Mexico State University.

We are thankful for our camp donor the 1248 Foundation for sponsoring these students and making this camp possible.

Tarleton State University Vet Science Camp

Tarleton State University VSCP Summer Camp was a hit! This 3 day overnight summer camp is a hands on, fun experience that allows students the opportunity to experience a variety of large animals and get a glimpse at college life. We love hosting kids that are looking to pursue education and careers in veterinary and animal science.

Brock Veterinary Clinic Equine Camp

Brock Veterinary Clinic in Lamesa hosted a group of aspiring equine veterinarians on June 5th. These students were able to see a very successful, busy equine clinic and what a normal day looks like. With 3 full time veterinarians and 3 brand new graduates, these students were able to see a full array of cases and how each professional cares for their patients and clients. If you ever get a chance to attend this camp we highly suggest making the trip!

Our middle school camps are just around the corner.

These days camps are designed for students to learn and experience large animal veterinary medicine and careers.

Virtual Veterinary Academy is one learning option for students interested in completing the VSCP Course curriculum. This option provides students with a credentialed educator familiar with both the course content and teaching and learning students in an online setting. This option covers the same curriculum as all other VSCP learning options. The major difference in this academy is interaction with both students and teachers in live time virtual classrooms. This is designed for students that need organizational structure and support.
