JANUARY: MLK DAY & THE TMMC
This month we celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and have the Texas Modern Mediation Conference January 24th at the Texas Justice Center in Bellaire, Texas. It is sold out with 400 attendees, 55+ speakers including 10+ current/former judges on 20 half-hour panels with over a dozen current and former family law judges. MLK Day is January 20th and it is a Texas courts and Harris County holiday.
CRUISE SHIP MEDIATION STORY
Last month during my Royal Caribbean cruise, I received an urgent mediation request from the Hon. John Schmude. It needed to be done the next day, which we did by video conference 50 miles off the coat of Cuba. So I had by poolside bar money before the love of my life even woke up!
