The 134th Annual Battle of Flowers Parade, on May 2, will feature the Josh Abbott Band as Grand Marshals. This San Antonio tradition, themed "Melodies in Bloom," highlights Texas music and culture through vibrant floats and live performances, celebrating its rich heritage since 1891. Watch HERE.

The Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival, relocating from Tyler, debuts in Midland this year.


Celebrating Texas barbecue and Red Dirt music, it features Casey Donahew, Pecos & the Rooftops, Randall King, Kevin Fowler, and over 15 BBQ joints, promising a taste of Texas culture on April 26th..

Prank on the High Road


Artists often prank each other so Koe Wetzel pulled a great one on Kolby Cooper during his Damn Near Normal tour. Inspired by Tracy Lawrence, who released 1000 crickets on Tracy Byrd's bus, Wetzel only found 100 crickets and filled the rest with packing peanuts. Watch HERE.

Mardi Gras!


Kevin Fowler and legendary rocker Bret Michaels will headline Mardi Gras! Galveston's 2025 festivities. Celebrations run from Feb. 21 to March 4, marking the 114th year on Galveston Island. Tickets available HERE.

Billy F Gibbons Released New Music


Billy F Gibbons of ZZ Top released a new song, "Living It Up Down in Texas," featured in the Jan. 5 episode of Paramount+ series Landman. Gibbons received the 2023 T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards Lifetime Achievement Award.


The 2025 Icon of the Year Award will be announced on Jan. 31 at 9 a.m. on Facebook Live at Texas Live!
