According to Country Insider Cody Johnson sold out his first stadium headlining show at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX this past weekend. He also leads Pollstar's Live 75 for country which is based on ticket sales, streaming, airplay and social performance.

60 years of the Broken Spoke


For 60 years, The Broken Spoke has been Austin’s heart and soul for live country music, earning its reputation as the last true Texas dancehall.


Throughout its storied history, this iconic venue has welcomed legends like Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and George Strait, solidifying its place in country music history.


The celebration of its milestone anniversary will continue through the end of November.

T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards Nomination Period


Nominations are now open for the 2025 Texas Regional Radio Music Awards (TRRMA), set to take place on March 24, 2025, at Texas Live! in Arlington, TX.


This nomination round runs from November 9–30. To nominate and vote, you must be a TRRMA member, though a free membership option is available. Nominate your favorite artists, bands, songs, albums, videos, festivals, and radio stations—and don't forget to highlight Red Dirt Proud for Syndicated/Specialty Show.


For more details, visit TRRMA.net. After the nomination period, the Top 10 nominees will move on to Round 2 (Dec 4–28), and the Top 5 from Round 2 will advance to Round 3 voting (Jan 6–30).
