94.9 The Outlaw will Shudder after Feb. 28th

94.9 The Outlaw/Wichita Falls, TX opened its airwaves in 2006, bringing you legends like Jerry Jeff Walker, Guy Clark, and Rusty Weir with Oklahoma favorites like Cross Canadian Ragweed, Stoney LaRue, and Jason Boland as well as launching up-and-comer acts at the time like Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen, Kevin Fowler, Aaron Watson, and Cody Johnson who are now the leaders in the Texas/Red Dirt Movement. The Outlaw has also helped with community events, supporting its local music scene and bringing you the best country music with a Texas/Red Dirt attitude.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce February 28th will be our final broadcast. 94.9 The Outlaw will be dead air on March 1st. It has been an honor to serve our music-loving residents with a genre that has grown worldwide.

Thank you Texoma for the memories and keep playing that music from Texas and Oklahoma! Long live The Outlaw!
