They will be accepting the T3R Icon award! Michael Martin Murphey will also be attending also and will be accepting the Living Legend award. Murphey will be performing his song "Wildfire."

15th Annual T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards and Future Faces Show 2025

Sunday, March 23 and Monday, March 24, 2025, at 7 p.m. CST

 

ARLINGTON, Texas - (January 31, 2025) – The T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards will present Cross Canadian Ragweed with the T3R Icon of the Year Award, and Michael Martin Murphey will receive the Living Legend Award at the 15th Annual T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards show that will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Texas Live! in Arlington, Texas.

 

Michael Martin Murphey will perform his iconic song 'Wildfire,' celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Female Vocalist of the Decade, Bri Bagwell, along with Hudson Westbrook, Kylie Frey, Grant Gilbert, Billie Jo Jones, Sundance Head, Payton Howie, Tori Martin, Sunny Sauceda, Brooke Graham, Paul Eason, James Lann, and more will perform on Texas Music’s Biggest Night. The show will be hosted by radio veteran, 95.9 Austin’s Texas Country, Eric Raines. More information available at www.trrma.net

Koe Wetzel and his girlfriend Bailey Fisher are expecting their first child. Fisher made the announcement on her Instagram page and said “Our sweetest blessing. Just over halfway with baby girl.”

The 2025 Texas Music Industry Economic Impact Report was released last week showing nearly $5 billion in earnings in 2024, plus more than $12.5 billion for economic activity. The report also indicates that 86,000 permanent careers were also generated. Read more HERE.

Josh Weathers' new song "Me and Fort Worth" was delayed due to licensing issues. Instead, he'll release a live performance video on YouTube and "Who's Hanging the Moon" to radio on February 10th.

Looks like Texas Music Daily missed a good show. Wade Bowen played Billy Bob's Texas this past weekend and was joined on stage by Pat Green, Tanner Usrey and Josh Weathers. Wade just celebrated his 26th #1 with "Friday Night."


He posted on Facebook, "What a damn night at the world’s largest honky Tonk! Thank yall for coming out! And huge thanks to my buddies Pat Green, Tanner Usrey and Josh Weathers Music for joining us throughout the night on stage! Oh and my boy Brock of course. Love jammin with you guys. What a way to close out the shows before we head to Europe for the whole month of February!!! Truly blown away I get to do this with my life! Cheers and love friends."
