Robert Earl Keen, who announced his retirement in 2022, took time off to rest and reflect but has returned revitalized. He’s now performing multiple tour dates, including shows with Willie Nelson & Family and the Turnpike Troubadours. Recently, he honored the late Townes Van Zandt with a heartfelt cover of "Snowin' on Raton," at Bass Hall in Fort Worth.
