Texas Music Stars Shined Brightly at the T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards

Texas Royalty Shined at Texas Music’s Biggest Night

At the 15th Annual T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards and Future Faces Show 2025,

Sunday, March 23 and Monday, March 24, 2025 

The 15th Annual T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards honored Texas music legends and rising stars, highlighting the enduring spirit of the Texas music scene.

Michael Martin Murphey received the prestigious Living Legend Award, along with a Key to the City from Arlington Mayor Jim Ross. Billy Bob Thornton was also honored with a T3R Living Legend Award, accepting via video while filming Landman.

Texas/Red Dirt pioneers Cross Canadian Ragweed were celebrated with the T3R ICON Award and a Key to the City, marking their triumphant reunion and the success of their 5 Boys from Oklahoma concerts, which sold over 200,000 tickets.

The Randy Rogers Band took home four awards, including Entertainer of the Year, while Wade Bowen claimed five, including Male Vocalist of the Year. Billie Jo Jones was crowned Female Vocalist of the Year.

New talents like Hudson Westbrook, Tori Martin, Cynthia Rausch, Brodie Lane, Kaitlyn Kohler, and Jamie Richards were spotlighted, while Sundance Head’s "Heaven Shines Down on You" won Song of the Year.

Outstanding radio stations supporting Texas music were also recognized, including KFWR/Fort Worth, KRMX/Waco, and more.

 

The T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards showcased a spectacular lineup, including a special presentation by Michael Martin Murphey, who captivated the audience with his iconic hits “Wildfire” and “Carolina in the Pines.” The event also featured unforgettable performances by rising country star Hudson Westbrook, Female Artist of the Decade Bri Bagwell, and talented artists Kylie Frey and Grant Gilbert, each leaving the crowd in awe with their incredible talent.
