Baby's First Rodeo and New Self Titled Album

Parker McCollum brought his son, Major, on stage at Rodeo Houston for his very first rodeo. Major was dressed in starched jeans, a belt, and a buckle adorned with "MM." During the event, Parker also revealed the title of his fifth studio album to a record-breaking crowd of nearly 72,000 people. The upcoming self-titled album, which Parker describes as "raw and one thousand percent authentic," is set to be released on June 27.

Kyle Park releases Rewind: The Acoustic Sessions on March 28, offering stripped-down, reimagined versions of fan favorites alongside the new track “Pretend That I’m Saying It Right.” The album delivers intimate storytelling and acoustic warmth, revisiting highlights from his career in their rawest, most authentic form.

Readers Choice Awards

Barry Diamond of K95.5/Payne Radio Group earned the title of Best Radio DJ, while K95.5 was honored as the Best Radio Station in The Paris News very own Readers Choice Awards. Barry boasts an impressive 43-year career in radio.

Texas and Football

Wade Bowen's hit "Friday Night," featuring NFL legend Troy Aikman, was a standout at the T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards. Bowen won five awards, including Single and Music Video of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Album for Hold My Beer, Vol. 4, and Vocal Duo with Randy Rogers. The song celebrates Texas football tradition, and Aikman expressed his excitement, praising Bowen on social media: "Congratulations, my man." Together, they pay tribute to Texas roots and culture.

Acoustic Wildfire Relief Shows

Wyatt Flores is holding three acoustic benefit concerts to support Oklahoma wildfire relief efforts. The sold-out shows are set for March 28 at The Dirty Rooster (Stillwater), March 29 at Ponyboy (Oklahoma City), and March 30 at The Mercury Lounge (Tulsa). Silent auctions and merch sales will accompany the events with waitlist options available.

New Female Vocalist of the Year

Tori Martin was named one of the 2025 Texas Regional Radio Report “New Female Vocalists of the Year” at the Texas Music & Radio Awards. Known for her Top 5 hit “Abilene,” Martin expressed gratitude to fans and her team, reflecting on career highlights like her first #1 single, “Lost In The Country.” Cynthia Rausch was also awarded the New Female Vocalist honors after a tie in votes.
