Amarillo by Aaron

Aaron Watson and Grupo Siggno teamed up to create a cumbia-inspired rendition of George Strait's classic "Amarillo By Morning." Aaron shared that the first album his father ever bought him was Strait's legendary Strait From the Heart, which featured the beloved song. He also owns the original vinyl recording of "Amarillo By Morning" by its songwriter, Terry Stafford.

Hayes Carll 'We’re Only Human' out 8/8

Hayes Carll’s new album, We’re Only Human, drops on August 8. To kick things off, he’s released the song “Progress of Man (Bitcoin & Cattle).” Co-produced with Gordy Quist of Band of Heathens, the album features collaborations with MC Taylor of Hiss Golden Messenger on “Stay Here A While” and a star-studded final track, “May I Never,” with Ed Jurdi, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Shovels & Rope, Darrell Scott, and Nicole Atkins. Sounds like a powerhouse lineup!

Compadres Hill Country Cocina, a veteran-owned Tex-Mex spot in Boerne, will be featured on The Texas Bucket List on May 10. The beloved eatery, known for its smoky plates, military ties, and celebrity visits, even has a dish named after George Strait.
