The Boys From Oklahoma Show Schedules & Road Closures


Stillwater, OK is bracing for a surge of visitors as The Boys from Oklahoma take the stage for four days of concerts kicking off TOMORROW April 10th through Sunday April 13th at Boone Pickens Stadium.

To accommodate the massive crowds, Oklahoma State University (OSU) has announced road closures, with Hall of Fame Avenue shutting down from noon TOMORROW through Sunday. OSU students will still attend classes TOMORROW and Friday, so plan accordingly.

Concertgoers should check the traffic flow map for updates. Doors open at 4 p.m. TOMORROW April 10th, and 3:30 p.m. on Friday, with performances kicking off at 5:30 p.m. each day.

Red Dirt Week Declared in Stillwater, OK


Stillwater, Oklahoma, has officially declared April 7-13 as “Red Dirt Music Week” in honor of its deep roots in the genre. Cross Canadian Ragweed members Cody Canada and Randy Ragsdale marked the occasion with a city hall visit ahead of a sold-out, four-day concert series.

Starting TOMORROW, “The Boys from Oklahoma” concerts will bring together Red Dirt legends, including Ragweed, Turnpike Troubadours, Stoney LaRue, and Jason Boland & the Stragglers. The performances will take place at Boone Pickens Stadium, a first for the venue.

Red Headed Stranger


Garland, Texas, is honoring the 50th anniversary of Willie Nelson’s Red Headed Stranger album with a weekend of celebrations. Events kick off Friday, May 16, with a screening of the 1986 film Red Headed Stranger at the Plaza Theatre, followed by free concerts on Saturday, May 17, featuring Texas artists—including Ray Benson, Joshua Ray Walker, and Max and Heather Stalling—performing songs from the iconic album.
