Cody Johnson to Close Out Rodeo Houston 2026

Rodeo Houston has announced that its 2026 event will wrap up with a full-length concert, headlined by Cody Johnson. This marks a major milestone, as only four other full-length concerts have taken place at the event, with George Strait closing the last one in 2022. Johnson, who first performed at Rodeo Houston in 2017, will be making his fifth appearance. His song "Welcome to the Show" holds the honor of being Rodeo Houston's official theme song. The event will run from March 2 to 22, 2026, with tickets going on sale August 21. More details can be found at RodeoHouston.com.

Rising artist Tristan Roberson has debuted the music video for his latest single, "One Night in Dallas." Check it out here. The title track from his debut album made a strong entrance on radio this week, earning #1 Most Added, #1 Biggest Spin Increase & #1 Highest Chart Debut at #65 on the Texas Regional Radio Report, marking an exciting milestone in his career.

Red Dirt 100 Gets a New Name

Rox Radio Texas/Red Dirt Country stations KFFK-AM, K264DA, KREB-AM, and K263CB in Fayetteville, AR, have undergone a transformation, shifting from "Red Dirt 100" to their new identity as "Ozarks 100." Earlier this year, the station received recognition as the 2025 T3R Out of Region Station of the Year, celebrating its influence beyond its regional borders.
