Hudson Westbrook is Releasing a New Album

Hudson Westbrook is set to make his mark with his debut album, Texas Forever, releasing on July 25th. The 17-track collection showcases his signature sound and writing, featuring his hit single "House Again" alongside standout songs like "Sober," "Dressed Down," and "Mine Tomorrow." The title track, "Texas Forever," is a heartfelt reflection on love’s ups and downs, capturing its enduring strength and fragility. Ashli Dansby Wins TAB Broadcast Excellence Award

KMHT General Manager Ashli Dansby received a call from Texas Association of Broadcasters President Oscar Rodriguez, informing her that she has won the 2025 Jason Hightower Award for Broadcast Excellence. The award honors broadcasters for innovation and service to their communities. Dansby will be recognized at the TAB Conference on August 6–7 in Round Rock.

Say It Loud

Big Loud Texas, the label venture between artists Miranda Lambert and Jon Randall, has opened its new Austin headquarters. The Big Loud Texas House, is set in a 19th-century building. Designed for collaboration, it features interiors by Junk Gypsy Co.’s, a lounge, the “Rose Garden” bar, and a writers’ room. The space serves as both an office and an industry event venue. Additionally, Big Loud Texas artist Jake Worthington’s single, “It Ain’t the Whiskey,” has climbed into the top 25 on the Texas charts.
