The Texas Country Music Association Celebrated 2025 Industry Award Winners

The Texas Country Music Association honored 27 outstanding industry professionals at the 2025 Texas Country Music Industry Awards last night. Held at Rhinestone Saloon in the Fort Worth Stockyards, the event celebrated the talent and dedication that drive Texas Country Music forward.

Among the winners, Texas Music Daily was named Texas Country Digital or Print Media Outlet of the Year while Greg Sax received the prestigious Texas Country Music Industry Professional of the Year award.

Sunny Sweeney’s string of wild road tales rolls on. On the way to a show, her trailer was struck by a suspected drunk driver, possibly bending the frame and forcing her to cancel the weekend’s gigs. The Longview, TX native is no stranger to road chaos—she’s faced everything from blowouts to breakdowns, proving again that the highway isn't always kind to touring musicians.
